Award Ceremonies and Administration

Following the long-list review in November and selection typically in April, an award of The Suffolk Medal will take place during the year at significant events such as Suffolk Day and the Suffolk Show.

Presentations may be made by the Lord Lieutenant and the High Sheriff, as well as other significant dignitaries.

The medal has been founded, and will continue to be funded, by independent Suffolk donations to the Medal’s Fund managed by Suffolk Community Foundation.

The ownership, organisation and communications for the medal will remain associated with this fund and supported by the Community Foundation.
